ICS-SRG gave a talk about Rob
otics and Drone Technology during the Dayap National High School (DNHS) Science Week Fair held at Brgy. Dayap, Calauan, Laguna, August 25, 2016.

Prof. Joseph Anthony Hermocilla and Donnalyn Drio shared to the students and Science teachers in DNHS an introduction about robotics and it's applications and future works. They discussed the different types of robots and gave emphasis in drone technology. Prof. Hermocilla explained the mechanisms of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and how one controls it.

The highlight of the event was the live demo where Prof. Hermocilla showed the students the actual working robots. These were the Lego Mindstorm that could change direction when it encounters an obstacle and the drones that Prof.
Hermocilla manoeuvred.

The goal of the Science Fair was to enliven the Science awareness and promote contemporary Science culture among teachers, students, and other stakeholders of DNHS. (by Donnalyn Drio)
